Synopsis: System panic and hang after creating a large empty file using 'dd' State-Changed-From-To: open->feedback State-Changed-By: gavin State-Changed-When: Thu Jun 28 16:33:22 UTC 2007 State-Changed-Why: To submitter: Do you still see this problem on later versions of FreeBSD? If so, can you obtain a backtrace by compiling the kernel debugger in and calling "trace" when the machine next crashes? Without this info, it's unlikely that this problem can be diagnosed. http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=79073
