Hi,

How do you connect a parralel zip drive to a FreeBSD 3.1 box. Ive checked
out the FAQ's which says its supported throught the ppbus, I made sure my
kernel contains the lines needed but I can't get it to work.

this is the dmesg|grep ppbus output

nlpt0: <generic printer> on ppbus 0
ppi0: <generic parallel i/o> on ppbus 0
plip0: <PLIP network interface> on ppbus 0

I tried:

mount -t msdos /dev/da0s4 /zip ( Bad signature and some more ) or,

mount -t msdos /dev/ppi0 /zip ( says: mount: Block device required )

tnx, rotan ( rotan@cs.pdx.edu ).
