You can't install FreeBSD on a logical drive, it needs it's own
primary partition, but you can mount logical drives (FAT{16,32}
and NTFS) once you got FreeBSD up & running.

You can't create another primary after the extended but if you
have, or can get, a copy of Partition Magic you could delete the
700MB logical drive, move D: to the end of the disk, and shrink
the extended partition, so leaving a 'hole' between C: and D: which
you could then use for FreeBSD.
