Try the 'msdos' filesystem.

mount -tmsdos /dev/fd0 /floppy

Most of the time, unless you're writing your own UFS floppies, you'll
be dealing with the msdos type.

mmm?  Do you mean a single filesystem type to enter on the mount
command line that will recognize which type of filesystem is on the
disk and switch to it?  I don't think so.

Use the filesystem that the disk is written in, probably msdos.  If
you're asking what kind of filesystem to create on a disk for use
under FreeBSD, you'll probably be best with the UFS type.
