I am running FreeBSD 4.3 Release, and I have successfully
finished setting up XFree86 4.0.3 as root.

My problem is that while I try to start X as a normal user,
(startx), I get this error message:

(WW) checkDevMem: failed to open /dev/mem (Permission
denied)
	linear framebuffer access unavailable

Fatal server error:
xf86OpenConsole: Server must be suid root

Any help would be appreciated.
