YOu can't compress the libraries, but you only need the shared
libraries (lib*.so*) on your system.  Profiled libraries (lib*_p.*)
can definitely be deleted, and static libraries (lib*.a) are only
needed if you want to recompile static binaries (i.e. not in your
case)
