I'm managed to get a bit further in to the diskless boot sequence. When rc.diskless1 runs it creates an MFS filesystem at /conf/etc. I have inserted a 'mount' command into rc.diskless after this point to confirm that this MFS is being created successfully. It is. next in rc.diskless1 there is a 'mount_null' command that tries to map /conf/etc to /etc. This is failing for some reason. This is the error message that comes up on my console: mount_null: vfsload(null): No such file or directory I'm using FreeBSD 4.1R. Can anyone help me sort out this problem? Thanks, Paul _____________________________________________________________________________ http://sport.yahoo.com.au - Yahoo!
