So what should I do?  I have an IBM ValuePoint 486/66 that does not find the
3c509 I've placed in it.  I also have a ThinkPad 770Z that doesn't seem to
locate the 3c589 PC Card NIC I have in it.  In both cases, choosing to do a
network-based install leaves me at a screen where I have only two
undesireable choices: slip and ppp.
