Sorry, you're right, I need to be more specific.
Here is the message I get when i boot up:

Can't check filesystem
Unexpected inconsistency: run fsck manually
Enter full pathname of ehll or RETURN for /bin/sh
--



When I run fsck the following message is displayed:

--
Can't open /dev/ad0s1a: invalid argument
Can't open /dev/ad0s1f: invalid argument
Can't open /dev/ad0s1e: invalid argument
--

So, as long I'm stil a newbey - can you explane what this exactly means.
