Subject:   How to change su prompt in bash

This is probably something simple...

How do I make it so that when I "su" in bash, that it takes the PS1 prompt 
in /root/.profile?

So far, even if I edit root's .profile, it still turns to "su-2.04#" as my 
prompt...
