Tried to isntall 2.2.7 After kernel configuration the process freezes on a black screen. The modem RD lights keeps flashing and nothing else works. I currently have 2.2.6 installed Hardware Adaptect 2940 Cyrix CPU US Robotics V90 As I write this I just though I should try turning off the modem, but on any case I would like to know why it freezes when I try to install with the modem on.
