I have just reinstalled 4-STABLE on what was a 4.4 system.

I saved all the old files, and now I am trying to merge in the users. When
I go inot vipw, and read in the appropriate lines from the old passwd file,
I get an error when I exit vi.

Heres what I am getting:

pwd_mkdb: corrupted entry
pwd_mkdb: at line #19
pwd_mkdb: /etc/pw.330Vd9 Inappropriate file type or format.

What am I doing wrong here?

I need to get these suers back in with the same UID/GID's, so I can easily
restore there home directries.
