There have been security vulnerabilities in BIND up to BIND 8.2.3-REL. If
your nameserver is connected to the internet, these errors might be
[failed] intrusion attempts. Which version of BIND do you run? You can
find this out by doing:

% dig @your.name.server version.bind chaos txt

If the version is lower than 8.2.3-REL (for example the 8.2.3-T* shipped
with FreeBSD 4.2-RELEASE), you will want to upgrade to BIND 8.2.3-REL.

If not, it's probably something else and you need someone with knowledge
on the subject. ;)

Good luck,
walter
