I recently finished (I think :-) setting up my FreeBSD 4.1 system to play nicely under NAT. Specifically, I now have two copies of named(8) running; one for cfcl and the local machines, the other for the outside world. I wrote up a README on what I had done, then realized that I could easily turn it into a tutorial. I have put up the tutorial at http://www.cfcl.com/rdm/split_DNS.html. If anyone wants to critique it and/or suggest how it could be made more available to the FreeBSD community, please drop me a line. -r -- -- Rich Morin: rdm@cfcl.com, +1 650-873-7841, http://www.cfcl.com/rdm Prime Time Freeware: info@ptf.com, +1 408-433-9662, http://www.ptf.com MacPerl: http://www.macperl.com, http://www.ptf.com/ptf/products/MPPE MkLinux: http://www.mklinux.org, http://www.ptf.com/ptf/products/MKLP To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-doc" in the body of the message
