Hm. It would not work for me, either, on my 4.3-STABLE box but it *does* work from a Windows 98 machine at the office:

C:\WINDOWS\Desktop>ping 808517866170

Pinging 63.107.146.186 with 32 bytes of data:

Request timed out.
Request timed out.
Request timed out.

As well, it worked on FreeBSD 2.2-971230-SNAP (yeah, antiquated, but, it's a secondary nameserver ;)):

[12:04am] % ping -c 1 808517866170
PING 808517866170 (63.107.146.186): 56 data bytes
--- 808517866170 ping statistics ---
1 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100% packet loss

*shrug*
