Kernel of 3.2-19990817-STABLE with any tested config (including GENERIC) faults to run: without -v - says 'panic: timeout table full'; with -v - trap 0x02 after determining memory and PAL. 3.2-RELEASE does not fault. Hardware is AlphaPC 164SX, SRM V5.3, RAM 128M; SCSI NCR875, ether Tulip 21143. Where and how to dig?
