Hello, My test machine is: FreeBSD mx.mydomain.ru 6.2-RELEASE FreeBSD 6.2-RELEASE #0: Mon Nov 17 12:03:27 MSK 2008 root@mx.mydomain.ru:/usr/src/sys/i386/compile/MX i386 I'm needed in Oracle support in my web-server. I'm using the databases/php5-oci8 port for Oracle support in php5. It builds OK, but, the check of auto start of web server fails (the server starts, but the scripts, which uses Oracle doesn't works). When I start the server from shell after setting the variable: ORACLE_HOME=/usr/local/oracle8-client (strictly required) and NLS_LANG=... Editing the start script seems to be not a good idea...
