I just sent a backtrace in response to his post.  I'm using:

"Linksys" "EtherFast 10/100 PC Card (PCMPC100)"

over 100baseT with:

$FreeBSD: src/sys/net/if.c,v 1.79 1999/12/10 16:31:25 imp Exp $
