386DX/25, Seagate ST-277R1 60MB RLL disk. I run the boot floppy, kernel loads, gives me .... wd0: type unknown 1025 cyl, 256 head, 0 sect somethingorother .... changing root device to fd0c Fatal trap 18: integer divide fault while in kernel mode instruction pointer = 0x8:0xf0181a48 code segment = base 0x0, limit 0xfffff, type 0x1b = DPL 0, pres 1, def32 1, gran 1 processor eflags = interrupt enabled, resume, IOPL = 0 current process = 0 () interrupt mask = panic: integer divide fault hit reset please I suspect that the 0 sect is a problem of some sort. FDISK chucks on it too, with a run time divide error. ALWAYS fun to play. :-) ...
