Thanks for the patch, the box is at my work, so I will be able
to check it tomorrow morning at best.

Also according to this:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Intel_chipsets

 945G  --> GMA 950
 945GZ --> GMA 950
 946GZ --> GMA 3000

So it will be propably better to 'fake/simulate' Q965 chipset
then 945* because Q965 also has GMA 3000 gfx card inside.
