Find such a machine might be very hard, if not plain impossible :/
I already have 3 laptops here (of which none has worked for several=20
month regarding suspend/resume) so I have plenty. However getting=20
laptops to those thats supposed to maintain ACPI might be an idea, but=20
we should make certain that it would help first ;)
