	Umm, no.  Its the x86 system.  Shouldn't have any problems,
unless maybe you try SMP.  I doubt you will encounter anything that sucks.

	Yes, they are.  For a while I ran the PCI Realtek NE2000 clones.  
They did good, all I had to do was add "device ed" or something like that 
to my kernel - no problems.  It detected automaticly, everything was fine.
