I installed the latest version of freebsd and enabled xdm.
When xdm starts, i try to login as root but it wont let me in, it does
not give me error message. But if i log in as a normal user, i have no
problem. What could be wrong?

Another thing, when kde starts after logging in as normal user
and open a shell and type su at the command prompt, it says that I
am not in the correct group to su to root. What can I do so that I can su to
root.

Thanks
