i'm not qualified; i only got as far as i did with the help of others
on this list. hell, i don't even know why there is a memory setting
available in pccard.conf and in rc.conf and in the kernel config :).

i think really what is needed is an updated faq; the thing at
http://home.jp.freebsd.org/~toshi/PAO3/PAO-FAQ.html
has a lot of the appropriate kinds of Q's, but the A's are mostly
irrelevant for 4.0.
