I've installed FreeBSD 4.3. -Configured kernel -Made partitions on hdd(tried on single, onto the second, the only partition etc.) -Set whereto install bootmng Then instalation program made filesystem: "All filesystems written successfully" But next window(coping /kernel....) returned error: "Copy returned error status of 1. Couldn't clone the boot floppy onto the root filesystem." When I then tried to continue with instalation coping every package ended with: "Write faliure on transfer! Unable to transfer the ... distribution from acd0c." I have PCI bus, 486DX2/66MHz,Western Digital 10GB EIDE ATA100 C16383 H16 S63 Other parameters are (as I think) nonsignificant. Could you help me to solve thos problem in order to install FreeBSD? Filip Svoboda To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
