There is an upgrade procedure; you can grab a daily snap from
current.freebsd.org and install it like any other upgrade.  Or, you can
upgrade by building from source; see
http://www.nothing-going-on.demon.co.uk/FreeBSD/make-world/make-world.html.

**WARNING:** Subscribe to the -current mailing list before upgrading to
3.0-CURRENT.  There are probably gotchas, and asking questions about
problems identified on -current is usually not well received.
