Bummer.  Eclipse 2, if I recall correctly, could use Motif or GTK. 
Did the Eclipse folks snip out the Motif stuff from 3? I know it would 
probably be a lot of work, but it would be nice to have a choice of 
widget kits.  The minimalist in me is screaming right now :)
