Err, define "installation disk". You purchased a cd/dvd? Or you burned 
dvd1.iso? Imaged memstick.img to a usb drive? Something else?

Ok, so the only image that contains any packages would be the dvd1.iso, 
(which only contains a handful of super common stuff). Have you gone 
though the pkg pages in the docs?
