I (or, more precisely, my boss) would like to use NT passwords to
limit access to an Apache-1 (apache-1.3.12) server running on FreeBSD
3-STABLE.

I found something called mod_ntlm (http://modntlm.sourceforge.net/),
which claims to do what I need it to do, but just gives me a "Server
configuration error" message when I try to install it following the
(limited) instructions provided.

Has anyone had any success using mod_ntlm, or something similar?

TIA
