The full error I recieved was:
../conf/files: 'device-driver' flag obsolete

I had to add numerous line sending in "device-driver" according to the
following site's instructions for installing the bt848 WinTV USB device
driver:
 <A
HREF="ftp://telepresence.dmem.strath.ac.uk/pub/bt848/driver/2.18/README.FreeBS

D">ftp://telepresence.dmem.strath.ac.uk/pub/bt848/driver/2.18/README.FreeBSD
</A>

I tried removing the 'device-driver' flag entirely, but I just get an error
when I try to "make depend" on the kernel config.

Any help would be appreciated.
