well when playing around trying to troubleshoot some ipv6 issues i came
across something i think you guys might want to take a look at

when i issue the command
ifconfig stf0 inet 66.69.16.11 alias

everything crashes and forces reboot
my uname -a is this

FreeBSD clide.vulnerable.org 4.7-RELEASE FreeBSD 4.7-RELEASE #0: Fri Oct 11
04:17:25 CDT 2002 root@clide.vulnerable.org:/usr/obj/usr/src/sys/CLIDE
i386
i'm not sure if you are all aware of something like this happening but it
gives me a trap code and such, here is a small part of the printout it gives
when this error happens

fault virtual address = 0x0
fault code = supervisor write, page not present
intstructor pointer = 0x8 :0xc020c428
trap number = 12

it always shows the pid and command that caused it as well, hope this helps
you guys out some, email me back if you need any additional information

i tested to make sure it would repeat and it happened about 2 or 3 times
without fail
