I am starting to lean towards amavis when I finally get around to adding an email scanner to my squeaky new postfix system. I have yet to get deeply into it, but I believe that amavis creates / uses a 'sideport' to postfix and once it has the email it can then scan it and re-inject it back into the next processing stage of postfix...
