Hello,

I have multiple machines that I want to hookup to my APC UPS 3000
Rackmount.

I have a Share-UPS hooked up to the UPS and have the dumb unix cables
connected.

However, I am not having much luck in getting any software to recognize
the dumb port and do the shutdown when initiated by the Share-UPS.

I have looked through the archives with not much success and I really just
want powerdown capability.

I like the upsmon utility because it just polls and then shutsdown.

Anyone had any luck with this type of config? Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Chris
