How well do USB hardrives work under FreeBSD? What brands do/don't work. (The discussion of this in the FAQ under hardware compatibiilty a) doesn't discuss disk drives and b) refers to version 3.x of FreeBSD! ) Is there some other place I ought to be looking for this sort of info? is 1394/firewire supported at all? How about USB-2? And would I have to have USB-2 *ports* on my computer to use it if it was, or is this just a software/driver/external device difference? Thanks for any insight. -- Brian T.
