        The Tyan 1662 is available in the single-CPU version with the same
number of SIMM slots.  I presume you speak of the Tacoma (with 6, rather
than 8).
        As for the SIMMS, I would definetely suggest using either
Unigen(Tyan recommended) or Kingston SIMMS if this is to be a server, and
there are any plans of going above 128MB.

        AMD K6: We are going to be testing it as soon as we can lay a hand
of one.  There was some mention adding a CPU down the line.  The k-6 will
not do SMP (OPIC Logiv vs APIC logic) as of now.
        I know *nothing* about over-clocking.  :)
