I've had a BIND/DHCP dynamic dns solution, but it was very frustrating to get it all working together. Security/ACL/various DHCP clients not requesting a DNS update, blah blah blah. If you've never used dnsmasq, look it up. It simplifies the DHCP, DNS and dynamic DNS functioning down to a simple file. If a client doesn't update, you may need to tweak the dhcp client config file is all. recent windows (since 98 or so) always request it. I've had to tweak many others. Good luck.
