hi!

some time ago i did a patch to make the frontpage links
maintainable trough xml.=20

for example, the platform links look like this
<category src=3D"platforms/index.html" name=3D"Platforms">
  <link src=3D"smp/index.html" name=3D"i386"/>
  <link src=3D"platforms/alpha.html" name=3D"Alpha"/>
  <link src=3D"platforms/ia64/index.html" name=3D"IA-64"/>
  <link src=3D"platforms/amd64.html" name=3D"AMD64"/>
  <link src=3D"platforms/sparc.html" name=3D"Sparc64"/>
  <link src=3D"platforms/index.html" name=3D"More?"/>
</category>

this makes frontpage code smaller and easier to maintain.

i was wondering if anyone would like to see this commited
or if there are any suggestions to improve this.

the patches are attached at

greets, josef
