Hi, I'd like to install cvsup from the ports collection but I'm running into a glitch. The first time I tried I ran out of disk space, so I moved the ports collection to another disk and made a sym link /usr/ports-> /u1/usr/ports. >From /usr/ports/net/cvsup running "make install" gives me this: [delete errorless stuff] ---------------------- building showheap ---------------------- --- building in FreeBSD2 --- m3 -w1 -why -O -o showheap -F/var/tmp/qk003613 -> linking showheap ld: -lXaw: no match Fatal Error: program "ld" failed, exit status = 256 *** error code 1 (ignored) --- shipping from FreeBSD2 --- m3mkdir /usr/ports/lang/modula-3-lib/work/installed/lib/m3/pkg/showheap/FreeBS D2 /usr/ports/lang/modula-3-lib/work/installed/lib/m3/pkg/showheap/FreeBS D2 .M3EXPORTS .M3IMPTAB .M3WEB m3mkdir /usr/ports/lang/modula-3-lib/work/installed/bin /usr/ports/lang/modula-3-lib/work/installed/bin showheap install: showheap: No such file or directory *** error code 71 "/u1/usr/ports/lang/modula-3-lib/work/m3/showheap/FreeBSD2/.M3SHIP", line 322: d *** call stack *** "/u1/usr/ports/lang/modula-3-lib/work/m3/showheap/FreeBSD2/.M3SHIP", line 322: c *** call stack *** "/u1/usr/ports/lang/modula-3-lib/work/m3/showheap/FreeBSD2/.M3SHIP", line 322: c "/u1/usr/ports/lang/modula-3-lib/work/m3/showheap/FreeBSD2/.M3SHIP", line 7: cae m3ship: /usr/ports/lang/modula-3-lib/work/installed/bin/quake failed (status = ) *** error code 255 "/u1/usr/ports/lang/modula-3-lib/work/m3/src/m3makefile", line 61: command execd *** call stack *** "/u1/usr/ports/lang/modula-3-lib/work/m3/src/m3makefile", line 61: call to builc "/u1/usr/ports/lang/modula-3-lib/work/m3/src/m3makefile", line 1: call to procek m3build: /usr/ports/lang/modula-3-lib/work/installed/bin/quake failed (status =) *** Error code 255 Stop. *** Error code 1 [a few more of the above, then] Stop. # To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
