I'm trying to get FreeBSD 4.8 to recognize my sound card a Creative = Sound Blaster 32 ISA. I've run: kldload -v snd_pcm snd_sbc, with the following output: loaded snd_pcm, id=3D3 sbc0:<Creative SB16/SB32> at port 0x220-0x22f, 0x330-0x331, 0x388-0x38b = irq 5 drq 1,5 on ISA 0 loaded snd_sbc=3D4 When I reboot I do not get any reference to pcm0 in dmesg.boot I've tried adding: snd_sbc_load=3D"YES", to the /boot/loader.conf, but = this didn't make any difference. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
