Hi,

I write to this ports-list because there is no specific maintainer listed for the XmHTML-package of FreeBSD.

I have given the XmHTML source a new home on SourceForge ( because XmHTML source seemed to be homeless ).
https://sourceforge.net/projects/xmhtml/

Please tell me if it had a home which I was not aware of. In that case I'll coordinate and consolidate with that. I don't want to create a fork...

This is a new version (1.1.8) which includes support for XFT and UTF-8, which I have added. Also, I made several bugfixes.

I have based version 1.1.8 on version 1.1.7, plus

* the following patches from the FreeBSD-port:
     - patch-ai
     - patch-af
     - patch-lib_common_readPNG.c
( for details see file "FIXES" in the source )

* my changes for adding support for XFT and UTF-8 ( see file "Changelog.txt" in the source )

* several bugfixes by me ( see file "FIXES" in the source )

You might want to update the BSD package to XmHTML-1.1.8.

If you have any questions please ask me.

Regards,

Chris

P.S.: My work on XmHTML has been sponsored by Arahne, d.o.o ( www.arahne.si ).
