We are looking for a part-time (20 to 30 hours per month) marketing assistant to develop and maintain sales/contacts leads database and call on prospects to build leads and to schedule presentations. Other responsibilities may include helping organize trade show events and speaking engagements; advertising planning, design and implementation; writing and distributing press releases and other marketing materials; maintaining press contacts database; and responding to information requests from the press. Puget Sound Technology provides training and technical support services for BSD. This position doesn't require administrator skills, but a working knowledge of using open source desktops and office applications (such as KDE and abiword).
