Author: neel Date: Thu Oct 9 19:02:32 2014 New Revision: 272838 URL: https://svnweb.freebsd.org/changeset/base/272838 Log: iasl(8) expects integer fields in data tables to be specified as hexadecimal values. Therefore the bit width of the "PM Timer Block" was actually being interpreted as 50-bits instead of the expected 32-bit. This eliminates an error message emitted by a Linux 3.17 guest during boot: "Invalid length for FADT/PmTimerBlock: 50, using default 32" Reviewed by: grehan MFC after: 1 week Modified: head/usr.sbin/bhyve/acpi.c Modified: head/usr.sbin/bhyve/acpi.c ============================================================================== --- head/usr.sbin/bhyve/acpi.c Thu Oct 9 18:50:37 2014 (r272837) +++ head/usr.sbin/bhyve/acpi.c Thu Oct 9 19:02:32 2014 (r272838) @@ -492,7 +492,7 @@ basl_fwrite_fadt(FILE *fp) EFPRINTF(fp, "[0012]\t\tPM Timer Block : [Generic Address Structure]\n"); EFPRINTF(fp, "[0001]\t\tSpace ID : 01 [SystemIO]\n"); - EFPRINTF(fp, "[0001]\t\tBit Width : 32\n"); + EFPRINTF(fp, "[0001]\t\tBit Width : 20\n"); EFPRINTF(fp, "[0001]\t\tBit Offset : 00\n"); EFPRINTF(fp, "[0001]\t\tEncoded Access Width : 03 [DWord Access:32]\n"); @@ -502,7 +502,7 @@ basl_fwrite_fadt(FILE *fp) EFPRINTF(fp, "[0012]\t\tGPE0 Block : [Generic Address Structure]\n"); EFPRINTF(fp, "[0001]\t\tSpace ID : 01 [SystemIO]\n"); - EFPRINTF(fp, "[0001]\t\tBit Width : 80\n"); + EFPRINTF(fp, "[0001]\t\tBit Width : 00\n"); EFPRINTF(fp, "[0001]\t\tBit Offset : 00\n"); EFPRINTF(fp, "[0001]\t\tEncoded Access Width : 01 [Byte Access:8]\n"); EFPRINTF(fp, "[0008]\t\tAddress : 0000000000000000\n");
