Just a hint for anyone who is contemplating installing FreeBSD
sharing the disk with OS/2, and in particular with OS/2's boot
manager. Don't let FreeBSD's fdisk *create* the parition
(although you'll certainly have to edit the partition table to
change the type). Use OS/2's FDISK to do that, making it an
"extended" partition, then during the FreeBSD install, change the
type to a FreeBSD partition. Slice it from there. Boot Manager
will have no problems seeing the partition then, and you'll be
able to add it to BM's menu.

Naturally, this advice does not apply if you're using the FreeBSD
loader. It loads OS/2 just fine, even if it isn's so pretty.

BTW, has anyone done any work on a filesystem driver to read OS/2
HPFS drives? I sort of miss that functionality I had with Linux. :)
