well, I just completed a build with:
make BINGRP=admin BINOWN=jmg TMACOWN=jmg TMACGRP=admin SHAREOWN=jmg SHAREGRP=admin NOINFO= NOPROFILE= NOTCL= NOTERMCAP= -j6 PRECIOUSLIB= buildworld

id:
uid=10000(jmg) gid=10000(admin) groups=10000(admin), 0(wheel), 2(kmem), 5(operator), 7(bin), 66(uucp), 117(dialer), 666(gamma), 888(ftp), 996(tquest), 1000(jmg), 1021(bbs), 997(freecvs)

and I had no problems with the build...  I would of responded earlier
but I misspelled PRECIOUSLIB the first time...
