Try "hlfl" located in /usr/ports/security/hlfl. Very useful for 
evaluating the management languages for ipfw, ipfilter, ipfwadm, ipchains, netfilter, and cisco.

In a crunch you need to be quick. So I would favor ease of management (ipfilter).
