But it's a kludge, nonetheless.  It's not a mount_* program, but it
calls itself a mount_* program.  Instead, it's an mdconfig, disklabel,
newfs and mount wrapper.  I think it's counter-intuitive and doesn't fit
in with the rest of the mount_* programs.

That's what I was getting at in my original message.
