It does not matter which FTP server is used. It does not core if the program is run from the console, but it using it through telnet, it fails each time. >How-To-Repeat: 1) Remotely log into machine using telnet and VT100 terminal emulation 2) Gain root permissions 3) Execute the program /stand/sysinstall 4) Select 'Configure' 5) Select 'Packages' 6) Select 'FTP' 7) Select any FTP server from the list (I used the 'Primary Site') 8) Select 'Yes' when the prompt 'Running multi-user, assume that the network is already configured?' is displayed. 9) During the 'Reading package index', the program will core. >Fix: Workarounds: 1) Change the release code to 4.4-RELEASE. 2) Access it directly from the console of the machine and not remotely >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-bugs" in the body of the message
