Oh friends... "make release CHROOTDIR=/some-nfs-mounted-disk" is now complete. A nice (useless, since I already have one :-)) release is now on an NFS disk. BTW, this build IS available for public consumption; just ftp to "ftp.codebase.net" and log in as anon FTP. The build under "2.2-CURRENT-MCS..." is the one you want.
