Hmmm... what I said is that if you use cvsup & make worlds as your preferred
method of upgrading, you do not need to install any ports on 4.x or 5.0 for
the crypto to work if you are also supping the cvs-crypto collection (of
course from the appropriate location.)

However, the ports are still needed for all others, so they should not be
removed, no by no means... but yes, you only use rsaref if you are required
to do so...
