Hi, After upgrading to the latest xorg/gnome/hal, I find that the hald is running but all hal-aware applications cannot connect to hald. root@tzhuan$ /usr/local/etc/rc.d/dbus start. Starting dbus. root@tzhuan$ /usr/local/etc/rc.d/hald start Starting hald. root@tzhuan$ /usr/local/etc/rc.d/dbus status dbus is running as pid 45082. root@tzhuan$ /usr/local/etc/rc.d/hald status hald is running as pid 51898. root@tzhuan$ dbus-launch lshal Could not initialise connection to hald. Normally this means the HAL daemon (hald) is not running or not ready. The output of /usr/local/sbin/hald --daemon=no --verbose=yes is here: http://w.csie.org/~tzhuan/tmp/hald.log This machine is yesterday's 8-current (r186891) and all ports are up-to-date. Any ideas? Thanks. Tz-Huan
